Q: Does SciChart Offer a Free Trial?


Yes: SciChart offers a way to trial or use the software for free on all it's products. 


No credit card is required to try out SciChart's functionality on any platform. 


Q: How to Start a Free Trial for SciChart WPF, iOS, Android, macOS or JS (JavaScript)?


You can start a FREE trial of SciChart WPF, iOS, Android, macOS by visiting the getting started pages: https://www.scichart.com/getting-started/ 


Q: Is there a Free Community or Non-Commercial edition of SciChart?


Yes: For SciChart.js (JavaScript) only, there is a Free Community (free for non-commercial use) version of SciChart. 


However for SciChart WPF, iOS, Android at the moment there is no free community edition, for these platforms, you will need to start a 30-day free trial by following the steps ab ove.


Q: How do I start a Free Trial or get the Free Community (JS) edition of SciChart?

To get the Free Community edition of JS, you can download this from npm or JSDelivr. Instructions can be found at https://www.scichart.com/getting-started/scichart-javascript/



Q: What happens when my Trial Expires?


For time-limited trials with a 30-day expiry, after the trial expired the charts will be blank and you will no longer be able to use SciChart without purchasing a license. It is not recommended to use a trial version of SciChart in a live production application, but it can be used for evaluation, demo or proof of concept (POC) purposes.


It is possible to extend trial if required during a commercial POC, please find more details below.


Do you need more time to Trial SciChart?


We don't mind if you take more time to try out if SciChart is right for you. It's our belief that the more you use SciChart, the more you will love it!
