SciChart iOS Licensing v3.x

In order to license SciChart iOS v3 and unlock all its features, there is a simple procedure which must be followed. Without this you won’t be able to compile and debug applications built with SciChart iOS. Licenses are unique to all SciChart products, so licenses for another products cannot be used for SciChart iOS Charts and vice versa.

BETA edition of SciChart Mobile SDK v3 now available

We’re excited to announce today that we’re starting to roll-out our deployment for SciChart Mobile SDK v3, and an official BETA version is now available.

Over the coming weeks we will be beginning to deploy SciChart Mobile for iOS, Android & Xamarin v3, which features a completely re-written and improved iOS Chart API, performance improvements, and 3D Charts using our new cross-platform in-house 2D/3D graphics engine ‘Visual Xccelerator

SciChart iOS v3 will support Metal, 2D & 3D Charts, OSX

SciChart iOS currently uses an in-house rendering engine which relies on OpenGL ES for hardware acceleration. While OpenGL ES is currently supported by iOS 12 devices, Apple has announced that they are deprecating OpenGL across all operating systems in the future. Exactly when that will occur we don’t know, but for now OpenGL ES and SciChart is compatible with all Apple devices.
